The rumour of Rammstein playing at Download Festival 2010 has taken a blow this week, as the band have announced dates at another festival.

Billy Talent are rumoured to make an appearance at Download Festival 2010.

One band member has already confirmed that the band will be playing UK festivals in spring, and another has said summer.

Taking an average of the two, it looks like its going to be at the start of the summer and not towards the end where Reading and Leeds are.

Download then maybe? Well, quite possibly yes!

System Of A Down To Play Download Festival 2010?

Tuesday, November 10, 2009 | Comments

Rumours of System of a Down playing Download Festival 2010 are out, following a brief reform.

The band got back together this Halloween at "The Roxy" in America and performed two songs together. However it appears that there was no sign of lead singer Serj Tankian, and what are SOAD without him?

Some are saying that this could be because he doesn't live in America, other sources are saying that its because he no longer wants part of the band.

You can see the video of the Halloween reform here:

Don't Hold Your Breath For Bon Jovi Doing Download 2010

Wednesday, October 28, 2009 | Comments

Rumours are flying around all over the internet about possible acts for Download Festival 2010.

You only need to look at the blog below to understand this.

Bon Jovi is one of those acts that has been rumoured in abundance.

Our advice is don't hold your breath. He may be over here playing in the 02 arena (see his tour here) but there is little chance of him using one of his days off to head over to Download and make a performance.

As you can see its pretty jam packed with dates, and a day off every two days. To use one of these to play a festival would be suicide for his voice and energy.

Nothing is impossible though, but some things just very very unlikely.

Wednesday, October 28, 2009 | Comments

Iron Maiden look like a good candidate for Download Festival 2010 following the news that they have a new album due next summer.

Don't hold your breath though because they have a reputation for not touring their new albums when they have released them.

Still, a visit to Download has to be on the cards for the British rockers. They would be daft not to!
